Oasis Tree Management was established in 2014 by founder Bruce Herlihy. Backed by an extensive 35-year background in large-scale vegetation management—including owning and operating the Oasis Turf Farm and Oasis Landscaping Supplies, Bruce built the company to provide a more considered, highly professional, and safety-compliant approach to tree care across Brisbane Southside and Logan.

Today, Oasis Tree Management is a proud, multi-generational family business. Our structural foundations combine practical arboricultural science, formal credentials, and an absolute commitment to client care.

Meet Our Leadership Team

  • Bruce Herlihy – Founder

    Bruce remains deeply hands-on, personally inspecting sites, preparing precise quotes, and delivering expert structural property advice. He holds an AQF Certificate III in Arboriculture, ensuring all site recommendations align perfectly with Australian Pruning Standards.

  • Kate Herlihy – Operations Manager & Consulting Arborist 

    Kate manages our end-to-end client experiences, project scheduling, and regulatory coordination. With 12 years of industry tenure spanning both administrative compliance and physical grounds labor, she specializes in guiding property owners through complex local council vegetation protection permits and QCAT tree laws. To expand our corporate advisory services, Kate is currently completing her AQF Level 5 Diploma in Arboriculture.

  • Ryan Jackson – Lead Arborist

    Ryan joined our core family team in 2022 to spearhead our high-risk aerial operations. Bringing 16 years of continuous field experience, Ryan is an expert in tight-access climbing and technical canopy rigging. He holds a dual technical background with an AQF Certificate III in Horticulture alongside specialized Conservation and Land Management competencies via Greening Australia, and is a fully licensed EWP (Elevated Work Platform) operator.
