Ryan Jackson

Lead Arborist

| Biography & Professional Background

Ryan Jackson serves as the Lead Arborist for Oasis Tree Management, bringing 16 years of hands-on aerial tree care and land care experience to the team. Joining Oasis in 2022, Ryan acts as our on-site technical anchor, overseeing complex high-climbing jobs and technical canopy rigging operations across Brisbane Southside and Logan.

Ryan's technical expertise is backed by comprehensive, multi-disciplinary training. He holds a formal Certificate III in Horticulture from TAFE Queensland, which grounds his canopy work in a deep understanding of plant health, soil conditions, and urban tree biology.

To complement his tree care skills, Ryan earned advanced competencies through Greening Australia, completing specialized training within the Certificate III in Conservation and Land Management framework. This includes certified expertise in chemical safety management and precision weed control (AHCPMG301A, AHCCHM303A, AHCCHM304A), ensuring our vegetation management practices remain environmentally safe and highly effective.

Ryan pairs his deep biological knowledge with an advanced EWP (Elevated Work Platform) qualification. This dual capability allows him to safely navigate mechanical lift equipment alongside complex tree-climbing systems. Whether executing a high-risk tree removal over structures or managing delicate canopy preservation work, Ryan ensures every cut complies strictly with Australian Pruning Standards (AS4373) and site safety protocols.
