2. Equipment Setup: Our commercial-grade, tight-access stump grinders are safely positioned on your lawn.
3. Precision Grinding: The stump is ground down to 5cm below ground level—often taking as little as 15 minutes.
4. Root Flare Clearing: Visible surface roots are ground back to completely halt aggressive future regrowth.
5. Mulch Backfill: The resulting organic wood mulch is used to fill the hole or can be relocated to your garden beds.
6. Full Site Clean-Up: We clear all stray debris, leaving your driveway, lawn, and property immaculate.

Grinding vs Chemical Removal vs Digging It Out

Stump grinding (recommended) Uses a heavy-duty grinder to mechanically chew the stump down below ground level, including major surface roots. Fast (often under an hour), leaves usable mulch behind, and the area can be turfed or landscaped almost immediately.

Chemical stump killers Chemicals are applied to speed up decomposition, but this can take months to years to fully break the stump down, doesn't remove the root system, and the stump remains a trip hazard and pest risk the entire time.

Digging or excavating Physically removing the stump and root ball with an excavator or by hand. This is far more disruptive to the surrounding lawn, garden beds, and any nearby paving or services, and is usually more expensive and time-consuming than grinding.
