Bruce Herlihy founded Oasis Tree Management in 2014 with a core mission: to
transition the local South East Queensland tree care sector away from outdated, aggressive practices towards highly precise,
standards-compliant arborist services. Bruce’s extensive history with the land traces back to his early life in New Zealand, where he grew
up working on a farm and earned his formal trade qualification as a mechanic. In 1989, he relocated to Australia and began anchoring
his roots deeply in Logan Village.
For 20 years, Bruce owned and operated the Oasis Turf Farm, providing high-quality turf and soil options across the region. He followed this success by opening Oasis Landscaping Supplies, a dedicated landscape yard that gave him an unmatched, hands-on understanding of local soil compositions, plant pathology, and South East Queensland flora.
In 2012, Bruce formally pivoted his green-industry experience directly into tree services, subsequently earning his Certificate III in Arboriculture. This comprehensive qualification, blended with over three decades of commercial landscape management, ensures that every on-site assessment Bruce provides is rooted in structural safety, environmental sustainability, and rigorous industry standards.
Today, Bruce works directly with residential clients, body corporates, and commercial entities across Brisbane Southside and Logan—delivering honest, transparent assessments and managing safe, complex tree operations.
